When subscribers don't see your email campaign in their inboxes, it's usually because of spam filters. If your recipients have looked in their spam folder and still don't see your email, then there are a few other things you can look at.
- Is a particular subscriber not seeing your emails? Ask them to add your From Address to their contact list or address book.
- If your From email address is in their address book, have them check their spam filter settings to be sure that your content and isn't blocked.
- Are they using a webmail provider such as AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail? These providers often throttle delivery, which can result in emails taking up to 24 hours to be delivered.
- Is there an internal firewall? Some domains don't like seeing emails going to and from the same domain, via a third party. The server administrator may need to whitelist your from address.
There are a number of steps which can help emails reach the inbox such as:
- Setting up DMARC, SPF, and DKIM to improve deliverability. Find out how to do this here.
- Avoiding using words in your email subject or body that are known to trigger spam filters.
- Don't use a Gmail.com or Outlook.com from address when sending a campaign.
