If you're sending high quality emails, you'll find that Amazon automatically increase your send limits before you approach them.
If however the system hasn't automatically increased your limits, open a SES Sending Limits Increase case and fill out the form:
-
Region
The region you've been granted production access in. This will be in the first email you received from Amazon SES. -
Limit
Select Desired Daily Send Quota or Desired Maximum Send Rate, depending on which limit you wish to increase. -
New limit value
Enter the value you wish to increase the limit to. Only request the amount you currently need as the greater this number, the more justification you'll need. This can always be increased again in the future. -
Mail type
Select Marketing. -
Website URL
Provide a link to your website. This is not required, but increases the likelihood of your request being accepted. -
My email-sending complies with the AWS Service Terms and AWS Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Read both documents, and only select Yes if your emails comply. -
I only send to recipients who have specifically requested my mail
Only select Yes if this is true. -
I have a process to handle bounces and complaints
Select Yes, as EmailOctopus fully handles your bounces and complaints. -
Use Case Description
Describe why you require an increased limit. The more information you can provide here the better, as Amazon wish to confirm you're sending high-quality emails to recipients who want and expect it.
